Independent Design Since 2020

About Fiastra

Fiastra creates expressive objects that turn everyday rituals into moments of character. Our story began in the Netherlands with a belief that responsible production and distinctive form can belong together.

We design with a simple ambition: to give functional objects an unmistakable presence.

The beginning

Fiastra began in 2020 from a desire to create home objects that feel individual, useful and visually confident. What started as an idea grew into an independent collection shaped by experimentation, modern production and a fascination with sculptural form.

Our products are designed to live with you: on the table, in the kitchen, beside a favourite chair or as a playful light in the room. They are not background objects. Each piece is intended to contribute something recognisable to the atmosphere around it.

What guides us

Four principles behind every collection.

Distinctive form

Silhouettes with personality, designed to remain recognisable beyond short-lived trends.

Useful beauty

Function is never an afterthought; the object should earn its place in everyday life.

Responsible choices

We continue to explore materials and production decisions with a lighter footprint.

Open possibility

Colour, variation and custom thinking allow a piece to become more personal.

Objects become meaningful through use.

Made to be lived with

We are drawn to the tension between architecture and play: clean geometry with an unexpected gesture, or a familiar function expressed through a surprising form. That balance is visible across our tableware, organisers, lighting and decorative pieces.

Fiastra continues to evolve through new techniques, new collaborations and new categories. The common thread is constant: a belief that everyday design can feel more personal, more joyful and more memorable.
